Mixed Snacks is a cabaret variety show of sorts, with the two queer Filipinx-British London-based artists Sam Reynolds and Duane Nasis presenting a menu of dance, lip-sync, comedy and live art as Hot & Spicy as a packet of Ding Dong Snack Mix.

The show premiered as part of Migration Matters Festival’s first ever Global Drag & Cabaret Bonanza, which I hosted and which also featured Señorita Rita’s Drag Show by Pepa Duarte and Rita Suszek’s Joking Macho-nisms, at Yellow Arch Studios in Sheffield, on the festival’s penultimate night of 2023.
