Sam produced the London tour of Nights at the Circus, a collaboration between disabled and non-disabled artists exploring sex, desire and violence, co-presented by director Fauve Alice and Spare Tyre. The show toured to The Albany, New Diorama Theatre (with a post-show panel discussion featuring Samantha Renke, SickBitchCrips, Nikky Smith, and Matt Valentine-Chase), New River Studios, and Birkbeck School of Arts, and was supported by Arts Council England.
The panel discussion was featured in The Stage, and on HuffPost UK’s New Activists video series with panellist Samantha Renke talking disability representation on stage and screen. Shortly after the tour, one of the show’s artists, Ellie Mason, won Performance Artist of the Year at the 23rd Sexual Freedom Awards with her NatC piece.
